I still don’t know what’s going on, and the tribe does not deal with those kinds of things. We’re far removed from it.” Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Chairman Jeff Grubbe said of former Mayor Steve Pougnet and the current federal investigation of him and the city of Palm Springs, in the CV Independent --- “It's really hard, if not impossible, to fix a fantasy sports contest. You can't get one player to throw more touchdowns than the other team, and even if you did it would only be one of your 12 guys and you're going against lots of opponents and what players they have. The complexities are crazy, so it's not a one-to-one compared to gambling, therefore it needs its own regulatory structure.” Peter Schoenke, president of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association, in the Chicago Tribune
